Our Leeds Dock coffee shop serves brunch, breakfast, hand brewed coffee, seasonal drink specials and a wide range of retail coffee to take home. It’s the sort of place people come for a quick flat white and end up staying for brunch and the extra pastry they definitely weren’t supposed to order.

Our bakes and bread are made in-house, and all of our coffee is roasted by our team here in Leeds.

Whether you’re properly into coffee or just want somewhere decent to sit for an hour, you’ll be looked after.

Our Sovereign Street Kiosk is built for good coffee on busy days. A quick stop-in space for city centre coffees, grab-and-go breakfasts, in-house bakes and lunch that still feels genuinely good in the middle of a working day.

Alongside seasonal drink specials, we serve two coffees on espresso, rotating batch brew and a wide range of retail coffee beans to take home. You’ll also find overnight oats, cold sandwiches and pastries baked by our team here in Leeds.

Whether you’re commuting, heading back to the office or grabbing a flat white before the train, we want The Kiosk to feel like one of the better parts of the working day.

Alongside seasonal drink specials, rotating batch brew and two coffees on espresso, you’ll find granola pots, oat pots, focaccia sandwiches and bakes made in-house by our team. We also stock a curated range of retail coffee and brewing equipment to take home.

Set beneath the Victoria Quarter arcades, it’s a place for quick coffees between shops, something decent to eat on the go, and the sort of flat white that quietly improves the afternoon.

Whether you’re properly into coffee or just need something genuinely good while you’re in town, you’ll be looked after.

Great George Street, Leeds City Centre

Our Great George Street site brings together some of the things we love most at North Star: really good coffee, proper grab-and-go food and the busy energy of Leeds city centre.

Alongside seasonal drink specials, rotating batch brew and two coffees on espresso, you’ll find hot breakfast sandwiches, hash browns, focaccia sandwiches, granola pots, oat pots and bakes made fresh each day by our team. The site is also home to our main bakery and kitchen, supplying food across our other locations in Leeds.

Inside, you’ll also find our largest range of retail coffee, brewing equipment and home coffee gear to explore, making it one of the best places to properly get into coffee without it ever feeling intimidating.

Whether you’re grabbing breakfast before work, picking up beans for home or finally upgrading your brewing setup, Great George Street is designed to make really good coffee feel part of everyday city life.

The North Star Roastery is where all of our coffee gets roasted, packed, tasted and shipped from. It’s also the place most people end up wanting to see at some point — partly for the coffee, partly for the machinery.

There’s usually a roaster running, coffees being packed for cafés and subscribers, and someone cupping coffee somewhere in the building. It’s busy, smells incredible most of the time, and gives a proper look into everything happening behind the scenes at North Star.

You can also collect online orders directly from the roastery if you’re local to Leeds.

The roastery itself isn’t open as a public café space, but we do occasionally host tours, training and events here throughout the year.

Home to the North Star Academy, our Coffee Hub is a dedicated training, events and workshop space in Leeds for anyone wanting to get more into coffee, from curious home brewers to hospitality teams and industry professionals.

The space is set up with professional espresso machines, grinders and brewing equipment, with hands-on sessions led by our team throughout the year. Whether you’re learning how to improve your morning coffee, building confidence behind the bar or hosting a private event, the Hub is designed to make specialty coffee feel approachable, practical and genuinely enjoyable to explore. No coffee knowledge required. Just curiosity.
