We are proud to have been chosen as a training provider for the WYCC (West Yorkshire Consortium of Colleges) Skills Service program. The Skills Service is managed by the West Yorkshire Consortium of Colleges and funded by the European Social Fund (ESF).

The Skills Service project has received funding from the European Social Fund as part of the 2014-2020 European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme in England. The Department for Work and Pensions is the Managing Authority for the England European Social Fund programme. Established by
the European Union, the European Social Fund helps local areas stimulate their economic development by investing in projects which will support skills development, employment and job creation, social inclusion and local community regenerations. The Skills Service offers a unique package of training and support for SMEs in the Leeds City Region:

  • Planning: Free Skills Plan session for SMEs to plan employee training and stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Funding: 40% funding from the European Social Fund towards training your workforce (eligible businesses only*).
  • Training: Training and education opportunities across the region.

If you are a business based in the Leeds City Region and are classified as an SME, you may be eligible to receive 40% funding towards any of our SCA (Specialty Coffee Association) courses in either Barista, Brewing or Sensory Skills along with the Introduction to Coffee Course for your team. This is an amazing opportunity to access these industry accredited globally recognised courses at a significantly reduced rate.
