This deliciously intense hot chocolate was a Great Taste Award winner in 2013 – it is not as sweet as chocolates with lower cocoa percentages and has intense red fruit flavour. A great option for the true connoisseur.
How to make an award winning hot chocolate at home
1 According to taste, place 2 or 3 tablets of chocolate in a serving cup.
2 Cover with boiling water and allow to soften for 15 seconds before pouring away the excess water. Alternatively, melt in a microwave for 30-45 seconds.
3 Heat approximately 175ml of milk to fill the serving cup.
4 Cover melted chocolate with a tablespoon of hot milk. Mix to a smooth paste.
5 Slowly whisk in the rest of the milk in stages.

Local pickups take place from the Roastery on Tong Road, please note we are still operating social distancing so ring the doorbell when you arrive and we can pass your order through the door. Please note our shutter doors will be down for security and temperature reasons but we are always in Monday-Friday between 9 and 5pm. We are offering free shipping for orders above £20 🙂

Have always preferred dark chocolate over milk chocolate - now i can have it as hot chocolate, and its absolutely delicious.
So lovely, just melt it first in a bit of boiled water and then add the hot milk and boom yum yum yummmm
