Choosing the right equipment is essential to bringing the best out of the beans you buy. It is an investment that can determine the success of your business and can make your coffee offering sink or sing. It is therefore a decision that is not to be taken lightly – but with such a wide choice of machines available (new and second hand) it can be an overwhelming task!

As part of our role in running a coffee academy, we regularly test out new equipment and are kept up to date with the latest technology available. We are therefore positioned well to help you out and only ever recommend a machine based on its ability to make consistently great espresso. For this reason, we have partnered with industry recognised and respected businesses to bring a variety of equipment (both traditional machines and filter brewers) to the market, all of which can be viewed in our show room.

La Marzocco

Founded in 1927, La Marzocco has long been an industry favourite thanks to its innovative and passionate approach to crafting beautiful handmade machines from its factory in Florence, Italy. It has always been a pioneering manufacturer having introduced several of the industry’s most crucial advancements including the horizontal boiler (allowing for multi group machines) and PID (proportional integral derivative for temperature stability). As a supplier, La Marzocco are closely aligned to our own principles and really value passion, quality and innovation. We use one of their machines (the Linea PB) on a daily basis and feel it cannot be rivalled in terms of consistency, reliability and style. La Marzocco are constantly experimenting and refining what they do to maintain their well-deserved reputation as industry leaders in espresso machines – whilst they are certainly pricey, they are an investment that will most definitely pay off and really do last a lifetime.
